A Look at Peshawar: From Ali Jan

We met Ali Jan Peshawar, Pakistan while he was visiting New York City. He was interested in the Afghan Jewish Heritage.

Hi great grandfather Qazi Abdur Rahman Khan Muhammadzai (Where Qazi means Judge), was born in Ghazni, Afghanistan in 1827 and passed in 1899 in Bannu. He was also a linguist and scholar who translated many Islamic and Biblical works. He translated the Old Testament from Original Hebrew into Pashto.
